We are currently seeking candidates for the Midwifery Graduate Program. Our newly renovated Maternity Unit consits of nine Delivery Suites, 42 Post Natal/Ante Natal beds and a 12 cot Special Care Nursery, in conjunction with our Maternity Outreach/Breast Feeding Support Service located at the Park Hyatt.
Graduates will be provided with extensive clinical experience along with ongoing support from our dedicated and highly skilled Midwifery Education Team. Successful applicants have the option of part time or full time hours and can commence in February 2009, April 2009 or July 2009. The program is 12 months in duration and those who have completed a Midwifery Graduate Diploma, Bachelor of Midwifery or a Double Degree (Bachelor of Nursing & Bachelor of Midwifery) are eligible to apply.

This is a fantastic opportunity for Registered Midwives to come and join our supportive and dynamic Maternity Unit at St Vincents & Mercy Private Hospital. We currently have full time and part time positions in our Maternity Unit (including the Satellite Maternity Unit at the Park Hyatt).
We deliver 280-320 babies per month and have 9 delivery suites. We also have 42 Ante/Post natal beds and up to six rooms at the Park Hyatt for Post Natal.
